Registrar Accreditation

A legal entity, resident of the Republic of Kazakhstan can be accredited as .KZ and .ҚАЗ top-level domains registrar. Non-residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan can receive accreditation of the administrator of national domain names subject to the availability of ICANN accreditation as a Registrar. The procedure of accreditation involves several steps:

1) Submit an application (application for accreditation, application form, agreement) to the top-level domains Administrator (Kazakhstan Association of IT-companies) for accreditation as a Registrar. Copies of the documents should be sent via e-mail to the Registry (KazNIC).

Completed applications should be sent by mail or courier to the top-level domains Administrator Kazakhstan Association of IT-companies (Republic of Kazakhstan 010000, Astana, 6/5 Kabanbay batyr str., of.3). Copies of the documents should be sent via e-mail to Kazakhstan network information center at info@nic.kz

2) Staff qualification level and testing of a software for compliance with EPP protocol is to be evaluated by Registry.

3) Obtain a certificate of accreditation as a registrar of domain names .KZ and/or .ҚАЗ from Kazakhstan Association of IT-companies.

4) Sign the standard Registrar agreement (pdf, doc).

As a result of the procedure of accreditation the applicant is delegated as an Operational Registrar.
