Whois Data Reminder Policy

At least annually, a registrar must present to the registrant the current Whois information, and remind the registrant that provision of false Whois information can be grounds for cancellation of their domain name registration. Registrants must review their Whois data, and make any corrections.

Each such notification should contain a copy of the Whois data information according to the registration form contained in a database of Registrar and the notification reminding Registrant that granting of incorrect data can serve as the reason for cancellation of registration of his domain names.

The notification can be presented by web, fax, mail or e-mail and other suitable methods. It can be presented in one or several languages, including language of Registration Agreement as the minimum. Notification can be directed to Registrant or through administrative contact for each registration.

Registrar should keep copies of each notification or database documenting date, time and the contents of the notification sent according to current Policies. Registrar should make these copies or records of a DB accessible for check by Registry.
