DNSSEC technology has been introduced in national domains .KZ and .ҚAZ
On January 12, 2023, the national domains .KZ and .ҚAZ were signed using DNSSEC technology.
This allows DNS authentication to be more secure with digital signatures based on public key cryptography.
The registry website published "DNSSEC Policy for .KZ and .ҚAZ"

Amendments and additions to the rules
Please be informed that, in accordance with the order of the Acting Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 337/НҚ dated September 20, 2022, Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 28, 2022 No. 29863, amendments and additions were made to the Order of the Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 13, 2018 No. 38/НҚ "On approval of Rules for registration, use and allocation of domain names in the space of the Kazakhstan segment of the Internet".

A new Internet eXchange Point (IXP) - KazNIX is started in Semey city. The IXP is supported by KazNIC Organization to improve overall connectivity in the region and quality of service for operators and content providers. More detail is on the kaznix.kz website.
